I actually thought that Bagaberde is just a bar that offers great music. I was so surprised to find out that they offer lunch and another surprise was that they now had an Alfresco Area. Yes Live Bands perform every night (except Sundays) starting at 9pm. They offere their places as a venues for launches of CorporaChristmas parties, Bar tour, Grand Ball, Acquaintance party corporate events and so much more. The place is really big and perfect for night out with friends. According to Sir Martin they want to let the others know that their place is more than just a bar. They are a venue for events, functions and special occasions and celebrations; with 2 Bars and 2 Dining Sections: Main Dining Hall and Al Fresco offering lunch and dinner; with Live Bands, Artists and DJs nightly Tuesday to Saturday.
They have a big Alfresco area which is actually a great place to hang out with friends with great music playing in the back ground. We just couldn’t leave the place without savoring what they had to offer. We did the different route in ordering the food and deviated from ordering any Bar Food and ordered Mostly Filipino Food.
For appetizers we had Nachos:
This is the perfect bar chow. This exactly what I was looking for in nachos: chips, ground beef and melty cheese.Perfect day (or anynight) food
This was a big winner at our table The Chicken Sisig which is another variety of Filipino sisig that usually served as finger food(pulutan). Normally the chicken fillet and liver comes fried then chopped into small pieces.
Another surprise winner is this Bagnet but they did it with a twist and they served it with gravy.I thought that I wouldn’t like it with the gravy but I love it and it went well with the Bagnet.
Yes we had Kare Kare at a Bar.Kare Kare is a traditional Filipino stew complimented with a thick savory peanut sauce and It was really, really good!!!
Sinigang na Baboy (Pork Belly in Tamarind Broth) I liked it as the level of sourness was just right.
